I live in Fredericton, N.B., Canada with my partner, my two sons and four other furry children. I am currently working on a second novel, 'Nuts', with the aid of a creation grants from Canada Council for the Arts and Arts New Brunswick. In addition to writing, I offer psychology-based workshops, coaching and consulting (www.lifepsych.ca), and teach psychology courses at University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University. In spring, summer and fall, I can be found in our teeming, twining, tangled garden. I am particularly fond of bee balm, the casings of poppy blooms, and clear-winged moths, all of which remind me of 'Horton Hears a Who.' I also have taken quite a liking to alpacas, and a couple of these fascinating creatures will have a bit of a starring role in my next novel.
